We are excited about skills evaluations this weekend and wanted to give you details about the weekend and our plans for the next couple of weeks. For the past few years, we have not asked our existing cheerleaders to participate in tryouts, however, the coaches have requested that we have everyone participate in the evaluation process.

Friday May 8th

Registration will open 30 minutes prior to your appropriate age grouping. While the cheerleaders are having their skills training session, there will be a parent meeting in the other side. Please remember that your age group to come to is based on how old you will be as of August 31, 2015.

5:30 – 6:30 pm – ages 3-7
6:30 – 7:30 pm – ages 8-11
7:30 – 8:30 pm – ages 12-18

Saturday May 9th

10:00 – 11:00 am – ages 6-8
11:00 – 12:00 am – ages 9-11
12:30 – 1:30 pm – ages 12-14
1:30 – 2:30 pm – ages 15-18

What to bring to bring to evaluations:
Registration Fee and May tuition

Tiny – $60 / $55 Mini – $60 / $75 Youth and Up – $75 / $90 Copy of Birth Certificate (if you are new to our program and do not already have one on file)

What happens after tryouts?

Next week we will be offering the same schedule that we have been having for our tryout prep classes. You can take up to the following number of classes next week based on your age.

Tinies (ages 3-6) – up to 3 classes
Mini (ages 6-8) – up to 4 classes
Youth and up – up to 5 classes

Please join us Monday May 18th for the first ever CSA Team Reveal! We are excited to get all of the kids in the program together at Lewisville Town Square at 7:00 for everyone to learn which team they will be participating on for the 2015-2016 season. The rain location for this event will be at CSA! (More details to follow) At this event you will find out your team placement, coaches, as well as your practice schedule for the remainder of May. Since we will have two short weeks (Tues – Thurs only) we will have a modified schedule and will begin our normal summer schedule in June.

Announcing CSA’s first ever World’s Team!!! We are excited about this new opportunity. Our plans are to house a small Senior 5 team of our own this season. Tryouts for this team will be May 30-31. All of our current cheerleaders will still need to participate in this weekend’s tryouts. Requirements for this team are:

You must be 12 years of age as of August 31, 2015
Possess level 5 tumbling and stunting skills

(If you are being considered as a candidate to tryout for this team you will receive information about the practices leading up to the tryouts at the team reveal on the 18th.)

Please mark your calendars for May 29-31!!! In addition to the tryouts mentioned above, we are super excited to be hosting Scott East, the World Champion Coach of the Stingray Peach team. He will be with us for the weekend holding jump clinics for all of our athletes. We will have more details to follow, but PLEASE get this on your calendar, it is something you DEFINITELY DO NOT want to miss!!!!
